/ carrots🥕 and peach🍑

Comprising the so-called 'carrot patch', carrots and peach (alternatively peach🍑 and carrots🥕) is an expressive model used to describe financing and gamification in a playoff scenario. The term implies parimutuelity and not mutual exclusivity.

Carrots are a compliance (ie. tax generation) whereby a player must purchase the item for entry into some contest (though participation in the contest itself is optional). They will typically come with an additional perquisite, such as a #mention, thus sharing congruence with pledging (carrot=pledge) in the legal definition of the word; wherein the reward [debit] is goods/monies owed [output] for payment as input. On the otherhand, a peach is the processing mechanism. (see fruut, multiplier, sticker)
/// etymology: the word 'carrot' comes from the concept of rabbiting🐇; where a person or team subjects their work to rapid application building (rab). The word 'peach' is used here from the fruit, which has layers (fuzz, skin, meat, nut/almond) representative of varying currencies. Bottom line -- think of carrot as a 'tax' (ie. house fees) and a peach as some type of 'payment processor'.

/ carrot🥕

In the context of 🐇rabbiting, a carrot🥕 (a gamification system quantum used to induce an increase in processor capacity) is the reward function (quantified as a fraction [share] of some bounty from pooled crowdsources) given upon thread closure🔏, tallied - in accordance with the thread - to whomever makes the most ¢ents🪙 or is most influential in their bid to resolve some open puzzle🧩. (see bug bounty, token, coupon, carrots+peach🍑, c@$#tag, sticker, quantumquotient)
/// The carrot model is primarily used for recruitment into contests, where they (carrots) are weighed at a standard one-hundred ¢ents🪙 per (plus processing fees where applicable).
